This past weekend I went to the Red Piano to celebrate my parents anniversary. I made y reservation 3 weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was told Our party had been split into 2 different tables, despite the fact we were one of the first groups to arrive and there were several empty tables set up for the same amount of people. They claim they are not able to “guarantee” seating in a specific area. Upset, I spoke with the general manager, who promptly brought me up a “check-list” from the reservations “specialist” stating that I was informed there was potential of being split up…instead of seeing what he might be able to do to accommodate us. He told me that all the other reservations had called before I had (but…isn’t there no guarantee on seating) which was why all of the other groups were going to be sitting together (we were the only one in the building split up) ……flash forward an hour and a half. Our group waited over an hour for our food, which came out one by one in 5 minutes intervals.
